Video: Candle Stamp for Hanukkah
December 20, 2011 in Talia, Tutorials

Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah, and if you’re still wrapping gifts, and putting together cards like me, then you might find this quick candle stamp tutorial handy to make things a little bit more fancy! For fun, I’m stamping tonight’s gifts with the stamp once, tomorrow’s twice, and so on until I get to day eight and have eight candles on my wrapping!
For this project you’ll need:
- Stamp rubber (if you can’t find stamp rubber to buy, you could make a small one out of an eraser)
- Lino cutting tools
- Pencil
- You’ll see I used a lino cutting board as well, but this isn’t necessary because the stamp rubber is nice and soft, and easier to handle then lino.
To see how to make the stamp, check out the video below:

Okay, I need to update my Christmas wishlist to include the tools you listed!
Love your video tutorial Talia! You make it look so easy.

That was great! You make it look super easy. I love how you showed us to stamp it and then work on it a little more to make sure it was right.
I’m with Amy – I might need some new craft tools!
