Everyone love a craft swap right? Well we certainly do, and have decided to kick of the year with a simple little Valentines day craft swap.

Here is how it will work:

It is a secret swap and the theme is Valentine’s Day
And first off you will need to sign up to the craft swap by using the form below & please make sure you are following our blog to receive updates

Then once sign up closes on 10th January, I will pair all of our participants up and send emails out to everyone letting you know who your swap partners are.
Then you make and send a gift to your partner, who in return, will make and send you something.
This swap is an international swap, so if you would rather swap locally in Australia please let me know when signing up.

If you commit to participate in this swap, you will need to make one Handmade item for a fellow swap participant and post it on or before the 7th of February. In return, you will receive one Handmade Gift from a fellow crafter.
Fill out the form below to officially sign up. The sign up period is from today, 3rd January 2012 until the 10th of January 2012.
After sign up closes, I will email you with your Swap partner’s postal and email address. You should receive your swap partner details by the 13th.
After you receive the email with your swap partner’s details please make sure you keep them secret. This is a secret swap so not only do you not know what gift you are getting you won’t know where it comes from until it arrives.
Make a gift for your assigned partner.
Make sure you post your swap partners gift no later than 7th of February 2012.
There is no skill level required. A handmade gift is always wonderful, no matter how technical it is!
There is no price minimum on the gift. If postage costs are an issue, you can make a gift that is light weight and fits inside an envelope.
You do not have to have a blog to participate!
Remember the theme of the swap is Valentines Day.
If at any time you are unable to follow through and make and send your swap partner a gift, PLEASE email me ASAP!! If something unexpected comes up, shoot me  an email at amyrea at rocketmail.com and we can work something out.
Don’t forget to take pics of what you made! We will host a And Sew We Craft Swap Linky Party so that everyone can show off what they made and received
This linky party will start on 1st of February 2012.  Depending on interest there may also be a flickr group.
We have no way of patrolling everyone’s participation, but we would like to think that everyone will be honest and do what they signed up for.
