Wednesday Tutorials

February 15, 2012 in Anorina, Craft, Quilting, Tutorials, Uncategorized

I absolutely love surfing the crafty sites and blogs on the internet. I can spend hours just looking at all of the pretty things, clicking along as things capture my interest.

I especially love tutorials and patterns which are available online. Do you? I have a heap of them printed up or bookmarked for later on… one day I will get around to making a few :-)

So I thought I’d dedicate Wednesday to Tutorial day.

I’ll be linking up with various tutorials, which I find on my web surfing adventures.

Are you ready to journey with me? Yes? Great, let’s go!

I first came across this block on Flickr and fell in love immediately. I’m such a sucker for vibrant colours with contrasting white.

It’s a block made by Annamal Quilts for a Bee on Flickr.

The design used for this block, can be found at a gorgeous blog: Swim, Bike Quilt.

Here is the direct link to the tutorial as well as the pattern to make your very own Evening Star block.

Tracey over at The Peony Teacup has a gorgeous table runner tutorial on her block.

Made with charm squares, this disappearing 9 block runner, is a fun design and can be whipped up quickly for a last minute gift.

HERE is the link to the tutorial

Scrappy Flora is my latest tutorial and is a fun quilt to make and the tutorial is available on my blog.

HERE is the tutorial for this quilt.

Look out for more great tutorials and patterns next Sunday.

If you know of some great web tutorials, leave a comment with the link.

I'm a mum of 2 little ones and wife to a very patient man. I love to blog, quilt and craft. Sometimes I even like to cook, clean and bake... but that mood disappears almost as suddenly as it arrrives. Look out for my designs in Australian publications.
