Every year our school has a Mother’s Day stall. All the items for the stall are donated and many of them are handmade.

Last year I covered little boxes of soap with brown paper and ribbon.

This year I’ve made some ribbon and bead bookmarks. I made the bookmarks a couple of weeks ago but I needed a way to display them so that they could go on the stall tables. So I created  some cards to attach them to.

The cards each have “Happy Mother’s Day” and “I love you Mum” printed on them. Once I printed them on white card,  I cut them into strips like bookmarks and added a couple of little slots for the ribbons to slip into. I’m pretty pleased with the results!

Need some bookmarks or backing cards for Mother’s Day? Well, you can print a copy of mine. I have created PDF versions in a couple of different colours, just for you!

Have you made things for a Mother’s Day stall? Any suggestions?
