Crochet for my Boy
I finished my rainbow blanket the other morning and I was wondering what to do with the left over rainbow yarns. So I pulled out my new book, 200 Crochet Blocks by Jan Eaton.
All the blocks look gorgeous but I picked one called Centred Square and made it up with left over blues and greens. I really just wanted to practice but once it was done I had a brainstorm.
I turned it into a “sleeping bag” for Mr Happy’s teddy.
The original block was supposed to be 6″ square. Mine is closer to 7.5″. I just folded the corners in and joined them the create a pocket. The pocket is about 5″ wide.
See pictures of the block before I folded it on The Crafty Mummy.
