Meet the ASWC Team

Okay, many of you do know who we are, but there are also many of you that don’t and you may scratch your head occasionally when you’ve gone from reading one post written by me and then to another written by say, Cate.

And Sew We Craft (ASWC) was an idea I had in 2011 to create a blog/website that would be curated by fabulous group of crafty ladies. And ASWC is now just that, I still have so many ideas for this place, but I’ll share those plans in another post.

So anyway, I thought I’d take a moment to introduce us all to you guys again. Or for the first time if you are new here.

We are pretty much all based in Australia (Alyce is based in Japan but will be back in Oz next year) and all have a love of crafting.

You can find all the girls details here if you want to track them down at their various homes around the web. And you really do want to track them down, they are a great bunch of ladies.

There is also a great bunch of gals that whilst they don’t contribute currently to ASWC, they do support us (or have supported us in the past) in various ways.

They are (in no particular order) Talia, Anorina, Anne, Ros and Belinda.

Talia is a passionate memory keeper and lover of kids craft projects. Talia was a regular contributor here for three years but has taken some time out from ASWC this year as she travelled with her family and is now expecting baby number three. You might see her occasionally posting on the ASWC Instagram account or on our Facebook page. You can also find her over at The Climbing Tree.
Anorina aka Samelia’s Mum is a lover of all things quilty and was a regular contributor here 2 years and whilst she doesn’t contribute here regularly anymore she is still a sounding board for me when I need it.
Anne contributed recipe and a few crafts for us for a while and like Anorina is still very much a sounding board for me. She also guest posts for me when I need it.
Ros likes to sew, create, make and bake and whilst she hasn’t been a regular contributor here, she was a huge help in our QAL a few years back is a great friend to ASWC. She helps by lending an ear and offering advice on a regular basis.
Belinda contributed for a short while but life got too busy and she had other writing passions to pursue.

And we also had Sara in the early days who contributed Scrapbooking posts, but she is no longer blogging.

So that’s who we are.

Do you want to share a bit about you now?

Where are you from? What’s your favourite craft?

When Amy is not blogging here on And Sew We Craft you can find her over at Actually Amy where she blogs about her life and other things.

  1. What a gorgeous bunch of ladies! Thanks for the mention Amy. Likewise, you’re a sounding board for me too! Can’t wait to meet you all at the craft retreat next year.
