So as promised from my last post earlier today, I’m including a video tutorial on how to add this interactive element to your project life pages if you have too many photos. You can use this technique with a bunch of photos like I have, or with just one or two extra photos. Totally up to you. I have done this with one flad, with two flaps (as seen in the video), and more flaps! There does come a point where it’s going to be really bulky in your album though, so keep checking that.
In the video I talk about a few different ways that you can decorate the bottoms to distinguish the different sections. As you can see I used washi tape again, in some co-ordinating colours, but you could use up some strips of paper here and that would be really effective, and tone in well with the rest of your layout!
Let me know in the comments if interactive elements (either to add room for journalling, more photos or both) is something that you’re interested in, because I have lots of other ideas I have been experimenting with!
Anyway, here’s the video tutorial for you to enjoy:

Love the way your store your washi tape. Is it just threaded onto ribbon and tied up?
And love this technique. Thanks for sharing, I am sure I will use it as I am so indecisive when it comes to picking photos.
