Vintage Pancakes
The other week, I finished a new quilt. Quilts have been few and far between here lately, so I’m pleased with the result.
I was one of the bloggers participating in a Tula Pink sew a long. I adore Tula Pink’s fabrics, but had never actually made anything with any of her patterns.
I made the “Pancakes” quilt and I have to say that it is a beautifully written pattern. The instructions are easy to follow and it’s a great pattern for a beginner to intermediate quilter.
I used a layer cake of Vintage Modern by Bonnie & Camille and some solid light and dark grey fabrics (Kona Cotton). I then quilted it on my lovely new frame.
Here is the result. Vintage Pancakes.
Have you made any quilts lately?
We’d love to see some pictures. Feel free to leave a comment with the link
I'm a mum of 2 little ones and wife to a very patient man. I love to blog, quilt and craft. Sometimes I even like to cook, clean and bake... but that mood disappears almost as suddenly as it arrrives. Look out for my designs in Australian publications.
