Arts and Crafts in Hungary // Mucsarnok

Mucsarnok - DERKOVITS exhibiton. Budapest, Hungary

Last week we visited the Mucsarnok museum in Budapest. It is a contemporary art museum, and I came away feeling so inspired!

My favourite exhibition was the DERKOVITS - MOST. It was an exhibition featuring young Hungarian artists who won the Gyula Derkovits scholarship.

I have to say, looking through the artwork made me really sad. Mostly sad that I use to create things like this, and that I don’t anymore. This was my potential, and now it’s hard to find the time to do anything creative at all! Such is life I guess!
