Once Upon A Time: Month 1

Once Upon A Time 1

I am just loving working on my Once Upon A Time cross-stitch! It’s been perfect for the cold winter nights on the sofa, and it’s also been my reward for getting each day’s to-do list ticked off. I’ve made progress, albeit slow, from the first time I’ve shared my project a month ago. But I wanted to keep a record of my progress so that it’s easier to track overall! So, in a month I’ve done the beanstalk, the bean, most of the house and pot of gold and coins and made a tiny start on the cow. I seem to be counting perfectly, although I have missed a couple of “crosses” on the house - the second stitch over the first cross - so I will need to go back and fix that! Although my husband just says, “Who’s going to notice?!” …. Err, me?! We have guests arriving on Sunday for two weeks, so I’m not sure how much more I’m going to get done over the holidays as there is much laughter and games and talking to be done! But I’ll be sure to share my progress on Instagram - @blossomheartquilts.
