Welcome!
My craft room is a super messy place today but let me show you some of the good stuff - some of my favourite things in fact!
This rainbows above are some of my current favourite things. I stitched the rainbow cross stitch blocks last year and then framed them in a shadow box type frame so that they sit on the back of my craft table. The mini quilts in front are an ongoing project. I just published the fourth tutorial the other day!
My table is a simple foldable table that came from Bunnings but it is a couple of metres long and a little over one metre wide so it has plenty of room for cutting fabric or quilting a large quilt or spreading out scrapbooking supplies. It has even doubled as an extra dinner table when we’ve had guests!

Here’s my sewing machine. It is a Pfaff Performance 2054. I’ve had it for about 12 years now and it was a great investment. I bought it just before my first baby was born and have gradually learnt how to use it. As a quilter I love that it can automatically stop with the needle down and the presser foot up, and it came with a large perspex quilting table that slides onto the arm when I’m quilting something large.

This little red lovely was a gift from a special quilting friend one Christmas. It is a pin cushion with a little bag for threads and scraps attached. It sits permanently beside my machine and probably needs emptying. The pretty pink and green pockets that you can just catch a glimpse of belong to my sewing machine mat - check out the tutorial here for a better picture.
This is a just a small sample of my fabric stash. There is much more stored in various plastic tubs and open baskets. I have a whole tub devoted to pre-cut fabrics, mostly charm squares and jelly rolls, and another tub devoted to batting and pellon because I try to buy it on special when I can knowing that I have a couple of quilts waiting for quilting and another couple in progress.
I also have my yarn stored in big plastic tubs with lids although lately my yarn stash seems to be growing quicker than my fabric stash so I need some new tubs to contain it!

This is probably my favourite piece of furniture in my craft room. We have two of these big arm chairs and the idea was that they would be a special place for grownups to escape from kids and read a book from the wall of bookshelves at one end of the room. Now that my cherubs are older, they are sometimes the place where the kids come to sit and chat to me while I sew, or even the place where I sit to crochet and listen to a podcast or audiobook. The crochet blanket is my Simple Boy Blanket - perhaps my boy left it there?

The other arm chair is currently serving as a place for my mini quilt in progress. I must do some more on that one!
So there’s a peek at my craft room. I managed to avoid pictures of all the mess and just show you the pretties - yay! It hasn’t changed so much from last time I wrote about it though so you can check out those pictures here.
