Quick Christmas Cards

Good afternoon!

Today I have a step by step for 2 quick Christmas cards to share with you. I was able to whip these cards up within 45 minutes and that included coming up my original idea. There is no rule that says that crafting should take hours and hours, quick is often just as good.

You will need:
1 sheet A4 cardstock
1 piece of background paper
2 die cut sentiments
4 embellishments (I have used 2 pinwheels and 2 chipboard scalloped chipboard)
1 12″ border sticker
some twine

Along with normal tools of trimmer, scorer, adhesive and ink.

1. Cut your cardstock in half lengthways. You will end up with 2 long strips.
2. Score along the middle of each piece of cardstock. This will help folding the cards in half much easier.

3. Cut your background paper 5 1/4 x 3 7/8. Keep in mind that if you are using a directional piece of paper, that your pattern is facing the right way.
4. Adhere your background paper centre on your cards.

5. Cut your border sticker into half. Stick half on each card.

Now comes up the layering of the embellishments. You will need to work in an order that suits your card but these are steps I followed for my landscape card.

6. Adhere the scalloped chipboard to the left hand side on top of your border sticker.
7. Foam mount the die sentiment and adhere on top of chipboard, in line with border sticker.
8. Adhere your twine along the base of the die cut sentiment, adding a bow.

9. Adhere your pinwheel to the left on top of the scalloped circle.
