A Crafty Home
I was dreaming of making something new for the house this week but it just hasn’t happened. So instead I’m going to share with you all the projects I can see from my spot here on the couch that I’ve made for my home.

This green and white table runner is one of my favourites. I also have coasters to match hiding in the kitchen drawer. It was machine pieced and then machine quilted and is double sided - handy for when we have spills at breakfast and friends for morning tea!
This quilt hangs on the back of my rocking chair. (Speaking of my rocking chair, it is a home decor project waiting to happen! I need to recover the cushions.) The quilt looks like a patchwork quilt but in fact is a printed panel. I used it to learn to hand quilt. Luckily it is only lap size because I discovered that I’m not really patient enough for hand quilting!

Last year I crocheted this ripple blanket. I love it but CraftyDaddy is not convinced. It has been living on the end of our bed, but with an overnight temperature of 9C last night, it moved to the couch as I got chillier!
Do you have your home decorated with things you have made?

Nothing hanging around just yet, but I’ll be making cushions, finishing a lap quilt and goodness knows what else when we get to Japan

Can’t wait to see what you make in Japan! I wasn’t into sewing or quilting when I was last in Japan but now I wish I had bought fabric over there.
