Project Life Baby Album

So, I’ve got my stuff together and I’ve started on Lior’s baby album using project life. I have to say, right off the bat I am SO excited about this style of scrapbooking. Admittedly, this first layout has taken me a little while to put together, but that is mostly because this is a brand new style/idea for me, and it takes a bit of getting use to!

Before we start the video, here are a few things about this week’s layout:

  • I am starting at week 7 (of the year) because this is the week Lior turned one month old. I have already scrapbooked his first month in a more conventional scrapbooking style, and while I MAY go back and re-scrap those pictures into this style of album, I thought it was more important to just get on with photos I haven’t scrapped yet.
  • I took a photo of Lior in the same position each month on the 13th (of there-abouts). You can see them all together on our family blog. I’m including these photos as a little extra insert in the appropriate week so that they stand out, and serve as good markers in the album of how old he is. I will go through how I put together these inserts together in a later post.
  • I actually went back after putting this album mostly together and printed out a few more photos - the two out-takes of Lior’s monthly photos. I had the extra space, and we spent a lot of time taking them, so they are quite appropriate to take up a few spots!
  • For this spread I used mostly Crate Paper papers from the Farmhouse collection. I struggle with matching papers, so I found this to be a pretty easy way of getting my spread to look right!
