Easy As ABC QAL

Today marks the beginning of the Easy As ABC Quilt Along - a 6-month quilt along that will make a generous single bed quilt just in time for Christmas!

This is the quilt it will make. On the first Friday of each month, I will be sharing the next five block patterns, and this month is the first row - Letters A through E. They are very simple to make, and perfect for beginners to practice a few different techniques - you can see there are some “diagonal” pieces

I will be making a rainbow-like quilt (the prints shown are just for sample), and if you would like to too, Sew Lux Fabric has made up kits for the quilt along! You can either purchase the bundles on their own, or sign up for a subscription to get packages sent automatically in time for each new set of patterns.

Each month, you can link up your progress (at least one block finished each month) to win some great monthly prizes, and in December, link up finished quilt tops or completely finished smaller items for more prizes! You can find out all those details along with the fabric requirements and other important info on the Easy As ABC page. Hope to see you there!

Can’t wait to get started on mine. Although I think it might be a bit ambitious of me to make one for each child. I would like to do it but realistically it just wouldn’t happen!
