  5. I just started sewing my own clothes! I could definitely use this book- I keep messing up the waistband/zipper on my latest skirt (I’m such a noob).

  8. Well I don’t usully sew garments for myself - I find it rather hard to find patterns that actually fit without a lot of adjustments … I often change them a bit, so they fit better, or take up hems hat kind of thing…

  11. I sew for myself on a regular basis — and skirts are an especial favorite. I never do use patterns but the skirt on the cover of this… I want it so much! And I think this is going to be a great book for sewing according to measurements (I wear plus sizes).

    I have recently started sewing my own clothes; just yesterday I sewed a pair of knickers! (They seem to be a bit small, but it was a trial run so…. Unfortunately I do not have a sewing machine, so I hand sew everything; my first project was a calf length skirt and I am very proud of myself!!
