Weekend Stacks: Rainbow Jewels

I love rainbows!

They make me happy and I seem to have created a whole bunch of rainbow projects when I look back over my blog.

So when I got this lovely collection of fabrics from the July Quilty Box I was excited. These are a collection called Flourish, a pre-cut set of Wilmington Jewels from Wilmington Batiks. I had not come across Wilmington Batiks before but I little bit of research and I discovered they specialise in batik print fabrics, and the Jewels are their range of 2.5″ strips, similar to the well-known jelly roll range from Moda.

This set of jewels includes 24 strips that are 2.5″ x 44″. They are all 100% cotton quilting fabric and there are 24 colours forming an expanded rainbow. They are just lovely!
