If you follow me over at Blossom Heart Quilts, you would already know how in love I am with half-square triangles *coughModernHSTSamplercough*. It seems that even when I’m scrolling through Pinterest, I can’t avoid them, with my HST Love board fairly young but filling up fast. I’ve been sketching more HST designs lately, for a project in mind, but just had to share some of the amazing inspiration I’ve found and Pinned.
I’m very into geometric designs, but even simpler designs like this capture my heart. The use of colour by VKmadeQuilts is awe-inspiring! There’s just something about this palette that makes me go mmmmm.
Talking of geometric designs, this is what I’m talking about. I don’t think Lee can do anything wrong, though, her designs are always incredible!
Or this use of colour and design by Tara Faughnan. Wow. Just, wow.
Samplers are obviously also a big favourite, like this one by Camille Roskelley. So calm and serene!

Do you love half-square triangles too? They’re just such a versatile patchwork unit, able to make so many different quilt block designs, either individually or across a whole quilt top!
