And Sew We Craft Together Linky Party

I know this little linky party has been a bit sporadic of late. I have had endless computer problems, but they appear to be all sorted now (touch wood!) So it will be a weekly occurance again from now on!

I do hope you can join us.

This week I am hoping to get in and try my hand at some embroidery, I mentioned in my 2013 crafty resolutions post that it is something I really what to try (that and getting my tension right when crocheting!)
I received some kits in the mail yesterday. I wanted to go down the kit route to begin with as I have no experience what so ever and wanted someone to hold my hand.

Ruby in The Dust NZ Embroidery kits.

The kits came from Ruby in the Dust on Etsy. Heleen also has a blog too:

Do you embroider? Maybe you can share some of your links to do with embroidery too?

Would you like to link up? Below are the guidelines:

Link up your projects, crafts or recipes (you can submit up to 2 links)
Please link directly to your post and not just to you home page.
Visit at least 2 other links that take your fancy and show some comment love.
We would love it if you to grabbed the linky party button and post it somewhere on your blog to help us get the word out about our fabulous new linky party.
Please also include a link to And Sew We Craft in your post.
This part is optional: Share, Pin, Tweet, Google + about our new And Sew We Craft Together Linky Party!

The more the merrier, right?!

And without further ado, lets get linking!

  1. Hi Amy, I’m so glad they’ve arrived; do let me know how they go! If you’re new to embroidery (or just a bit unsure), do the tree first, then the bird, then any of the others :)

    • Thanks Heleen! You read my mind, that is the order that I was going to do them in. I am starting the tree at nap/quiet time today.

  2. The kits look really nice. I like the look of the two at the front, the flowers and the bird. I am having a bit of an embroidery thing too, and am going to put some pictures on my blog soon.
