New Baby = New Quilt
A friend, recently gave birth to a little boy. He is one lucky lad, with 3 older sisters to look after him, guide him through life, dress him up and tell him what to do.
I wanted to make him something special (and warm) as he’ll be sitting in his pram every morning and afternoon travelling to and from school, while mum drops off his sisters.
I rummaged through my stash and came upon some airplane fabric which I’d previously used on a project for my son when he was younger.

The airplanes are bordered with some bright red spotty fabric and some yellow chevrons and I think it looks bright and perky. Perfect for a little boy.
I find boy fabrics so hard to find - especially for older boys (7-12 years).
Do you have a favourite “boy” range of fabric?
I'm a mum of 2 little ones and wife to a very patient man. I love to blog, quilt and craft. Sometimes I even like to cook, clean and bake... but that mood disappears almost as suddenly as it arrrives. Look out for my designs in Australian publications.
