Introducing Belinda!
Hi! My name is Belinda, but, because we are friends, you can call me B. I write over at bbeingcool.com, a space where I explore what it means to be cool. In a nutshell, I can tell you that to be cool is all about embracing who you are and what you are good at, and putting your best foot forward.
On my blog, I write about fashion, food, home and life. I am currently working on an ‘If Project‘ which has me ‘living here as if I am there’ in a new city each month. This month, is all about London, a city I love. I have taught in London, so I will be sharing some teaching stories, as well as some recipes and some ‘Living London’ experiences that I have created here in my neighbourhood.
I am very excited to be a contributor to ‘And So We Craft’ where I will share some of my recipes. I wish I could tell you that I am crafty, but, alas I am not overly. I do enjoy crochet (when it is amongst a group of gal pals at a craft group), I do sew (when I don’t have to insert zips or button holes) and I do have a lot of scrap booking things (that get a dust once in while), but, my ‘crafts’ of choice are cooking, writing and shopping.
I look forward to sharing and being part of the ‘And Sew We Craft’ community.
Let’s cook some stuff!
B
PS. Just in case you wanted to know a bit MORE about me… I am a wife to one, a mother to three (2 girls and a boy) and I am a primary school teacher. I like to say that I am a full time mum, a part-time teacher and a part-time blogger - life sure is fun when it is busy! But never too busy for a good chat and cuppa!
Belinda (aka B), from BBeingCool is a SAHM to three young adorable children, she also teaches year 6 part-time. B is madly trying to be cool, before she needs to wear comfortable shoes and elasticised pants. B has been learning that to be cool is to be true to who you really are: so B indulges in lots of cooking, 60s inspired living and Op Shopping. B will be sharing recipes and cooking tips with readers of 'And Sew We Craft'. She does do some craft, but talks too much to get anything substantial done!
