So Alyce shared on Monday that she had a few too many cross-stitching WIPs and well I am here to share that she is not alone in this problem!
BUT I am working on reducing my list.
I finished this guy on Monday and will be working on the next pile tonight.
The pile includes this one:
I started it way back in January when I decided that this year I would really like to work on by stitching and embroidery skills. New Years resolutions and all, so I set and and bought some kits to start off with.
I have finished 2 of the kits I bought, but still have a fair few to finish. That’s the thing with New Years resolutions, your all gungho in the beginning but as time goes on you tend to lose your momentum… well I do anyway.

I did a lot of crewel work in my teen and college days. I thought myself from a kit. I learned knitting and needlework in my 20′s again from books. Then caught the quilting fever in 1982! I saw Eleanor Burns on public tele and I was hooked! I’ve gone between quilting, red work, needlepoint and knitting since. I enjoy variety! Still after 40 years enjoy learning new things and fine tuning my skills. The Internet has certainly expanded my skills, interest and fun! Thanks!
I do all my handwork in the evenings while we watch tv. I do cross stitch and hand embroidery.
Love the Giraffe! Do you remember the pattern name? I have a friend that is just crazy about giraffes and I am always on the look out for new patterns:) Thanks!
