Fabric is my Weakness

When it comes to buying fabric, do you have the will power to control the buying urge?

I’m a fabric-a-holic. Some people collect quilting books (I’m looking at you Amy),but others, like me, collect fabric.

Beautiful colourful printed fabrics which are added to the stash, destined to be gazed upon… lovingly.

I was having a look at Hawthorne Threads… you know… just for fun. I clicked over to their pre-cuts page and found their scrap bags are reduced to $6.99 (from $11.00). Before I knew what was happening, my finger was adding scrap packs to my shopping basket, I hit the paypal button and bought fabric. Just like that.

There is a teensy bit of buyers remorse… but in about 5 minutes, it will have dissipated and I’ll begin stalking my mail box for my lovely parcel of fabric.

What can I say… I don’t smoke or drink and I’m not into designer labels or buying handbags or shoes. Fabric is my WEAKNESS.
