New York Beauty {Quilting}

I’ve been in a swap frenzy lately. Somehow, I seem to have signed up for a lot of swaps, over the past few months.

Do you join swaps? At the moment, I’ve got 3 dolly quilt swaps and a needle case swap to finish and send to my partners.

I’m working on this NY Beauty dolly quilt at the moment and really love the way it’s been progressing.

I’ve wanted to make a New York Beauty for the longest time, and I finally bit the bullet and did it. It’s not an overly difficult block to make (each block is a quarter circle), but it is a little bit fiddly.

I’ve added some gorgeous red ric rac around the circles which are appliqued, which has resulted in a fun effect. I’ve posted images over on Instagram along with images of some of my other swap quilts.

I’m stuck at the quilting stage right now, so any suggestion on how you would quilt this, would be very appreciated.
