Hi guys, Talia here! It’s a brand new year in a couple of days, and a chance for you to get into some crafty fun! Here is the prompt list for January.
I have to admit, I am not super good actually FINISHING the month, so here are a few tricks I’ll be using to help me remember to take the photo each day, and encourage me to see this month of photos through to the end!
- Set this prompt photo to the lock or home screen on your phone. This is the easiest way to remember to take a photo each day. If it’s there every time you pick up your phone, you’ll be far more likely to get the photo taken!
- Plan your photos in advance. This month I’ll be skimming through this entire list and thinking of a photo I can take for each of them. That way I won’t get stuck on a day that I can’t think of a photo of.
- Cheat if you have to! Do you think you’ll be time poor in the coming week? Take all the photos for the next few days on the weekend (or whatever day you have a bit of spare time), and then all you have to do is actually post the photo on the right day.

- Search through your old craft projects to see if any will be relevant for the month ahead. It might be a good chance for you to finish off some half finished things, or to show off some things your social media friends haven’t seen before!
As always, share the photos on your Instagram (you can follow me at @taliacarbis, and follow all the photos with #aswcraftphotoaday ), facebook, blog or Google Plus. Use the hashtag anywhere and everywhere, and make sure you leave some comment love for other people’s photos if you see them participating!

Hi Clemencia,
If you want to put them on your blog and link it back here, maybe once a week? But it’s totally up to you! Otherwise, just add them your social media - Instagram, Facebook, Google Plus, etc., and use the hashtag #aswcraftphotoaday and we’ll all see it that way!
