Amy’s Creative Goals for 2016

Talia got me thinking about what I want to achieve in the craft department for 2016 when she wrote this post last week and I’ve stewed on it for days.

I think I have decided what I want to achieve in 2016 but first I want to look at what I achieved in 2015.

In 2015 I did the following:

  • Became confident in my crochet abilities
  • Finished two quilts
  • Made 3 mini quilts
  • Started AND finished a large rainbow crochet blanket
  • Finished a basic crochet blanket and started two granny stripe blankets
  • Completed my 30 blocks in 30 days challenge that I set for myself to celebrate my 30th birthday
  • Joined in and kept mostly up to date with my 2015 The Beehive Quilts beehive
  • Made mostly handmade gifts for most of my family for Christmas

I also made a short video of most of my projects in 2015 that you can view here.

What I want to achieve in 2016

  • A quilt for my Granny’s birthday -already started
  • Finished my two granny stripe blankets
  • Create a CAL that will be launched in May 2016 here on the blog
  • Continuing working on a few secret squirrel blog projects
  • Do more embroidery
  • Do more cross stitch
  • Learn to weave - I got supplies for weaving for my birthday
  • Finish my 30 Blocks quilt
  • Finish C’s minecraft blanket
  • Finish E’s Easy as ABC quilt
  • Finish M’s quilt
  • Start a large granny square blanket that will eventually cover my KING size bed
  • Make more clothes for the kids
  • Make more clothes for ME
  • Lose the fear of not being good enough and put my craft out there often
  • Keep up with my 2016 Beehive and Swarm leader responsibilities
  • Decide on what I want to do with Actually Amy

So what do you see for yourself in 2016?

What creative goals do you want to achieve?
