I’ve challenged myself to make as many handmade Christmas decorations as I can this year. So on Sunday the kids and I made some Pom Poms.
We used the fork method to make the pom poms. If you are not familiar with the fork method, it is so so simple. You just wrap your yarn around the fork prongs and when you have enough yarn of the fork tie off the yarn throw the middle pongs and snip the yarn off the fork. It’s super easy and super quick.
After we did this I just used a needle to string them up on some embroidery floss. My cat’s think that we made them a new toy though… So I won’t be putting the garland on the tree like I had planned, they will be getting strung up high enough so that the cats can’t get them.
What Christmas decorations are you making this year?
